The Food Sustainability Media Award recognises outstanding coverage of food sustainability issues by professional journalists and emerging talent across the globe. The finalists for the 2018 Award in the written journalism and multimedia categories, both published and unpublished, were chosen by a panel of expert judges based on a number of criteria including substance, originality and creativity.
In addition to this, all finalist entries were put forward for the Best of the Web Award. The winner of this award was chosen by the public, who cast their votes for the entry they wanted to see recognised for excellence in reporting on food sustainability.
